Pantone has announced that Very Fairy will be the Color of the Year in 2022. That way, this Very Fairy color will be the color guide trend for next year.
Very Peri belongs to the periwinkle hue, and according to Pantone, Very Peri combines the calm side of blue with a touch of energetic red. At first glance, the Very Peri color will look light blue or purplish pastel blue.
What makes the Color of the Year different in 2022 is that Pantone does not use pre-existing color archives but instead produces new colors.
Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, believes that they must present new colors because, according to her, now they have a very new world vision.
However, Leatrice Eiseman also mentioned predictions of 7 colors that will become trends in 2022, including:
