Health 1212

1. Make sure the food and drinks you consume are safe

Often, one of the things you look forward to when visiting another city or country is sampling the wide variety of food and drinks available. Eat or buy food and drinks from clean restaurants. Try to find out reviews or photos on the internet first. This way, you'll get an idea of what the place is like.

The same applies when you want to explore street food somewhere. Observe the cleanliness of the outlets, kiosks, or carts, to the sellers or food handlers. Also, look at how the food or drink is stored or displayed. If it feels clean, then there is no reason for you not to enjoy it.

Make sure the food and drinks you consume are safe

2. Meet your body's fluid needs

Sometimes, we forget to drink while traveling, whether it's because we're preoccupied with our personal belongings, preoccupied with talking, or even motion sickness. Drinking enough water is very important to prevent dehydration, one of the goals is to avoid dizziness during the trip. Always keep a water bottle by your side and drink when you're thirsty or not.

3. Don't Skip the Exercise

Often the body becomes tired after a long day of activities and makes the exercise routine chaotic. It's a good idea to still make time for at least 30 minutes a day for physical activity. If there's a gym where you're staying, then go there. But if not, you can do it in your room. The last alternative is to walk more, for example with a target of 10,000 steps.

Don't skip exercise or walk more on vacation.

4. Be Consistent with Bedtime

Following a consistent bedtime like a normal day may be difficult to do during vacation. There are so many activities you want to do, you don't even want to miss the evening chats with relatives. However, if your bedtime is inconsistent, this can lead to poor sleep quality. In the end, you'll be exhausted and lack energy.

5. Keep Medicines on Hand

Some examples of health problems that often arise during holidays are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fever, cough, or diarrhea. Therefore, always provide medicines to help relieve the pain, such as paracetamol, aromatherapy, or diarrhea medicine. If you forget to bring them, then immediately buy them at the nearest pharmacy. An unforgettable experience and a healthy body during your vacation!

Vacations are fun, but sometimes they can be stressful. There are many triggers that can come unexpectedly, such as missing an item, not understanding the local language, or not being able to visit the location you had planned to visit.
