Ingredients:

  • Bananas - 8 pieces
  • Water - 1.5 liters
  • Stevia sugar - 6 tablespoons
  • Fiber creme - 5 tablespoons
  • Pandan leaves - 2 sheets
  • Salt - ¼ teaspoon

How to make:

  • Prepare the cooking utensils that will be used. You can use a saucepan.
  • Boil water (try to use boiled water)
  • After boiling, add the banana pieces along with the pandan leaves. Make sure you tie the pandan leaves first to make the aroma more fragrant.
  • Add the fiber creme, stevia sugar, and salt when it's cooked, then stir until evenly distributed. This fiber creme is a substitute for coconut milk. So you will still get a savory taste like coconut milk without using it.
  • After mixing well, adjust to the taste you like
  • Turn off the stove
  • Serve banana compote

Apart from replacing it with fiber creme, you can also make a spiced banana compote that doesn't use coconut milk. The ingredients are still the same. All you have to do is replace the fiber creme with spices such as ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Then bring the spices to boil with water and bananas, then wait until the aroma comes out and the bananas become soft. Apart from bananas, you can add sweet potatoes, palm fruit, or sweet potato balls to the banana compote.

It's easy, isn't it? If you want to eat it cold, put the banana compote in the refrigerator after the temperature is normal. Good luck!
