Overcoming a bad hair day

Beauty 1748

A bad hair day is one of the most annoying moments that many people can experience. Especially those of us who have thick, curly, wavy, or curly hair! These hair types are more prone to frizz like lions. If that's the case, usually half of our mood and confidence is down.

Especially in combination with other hair problems such as dandruff, weakness, dullness, or hair loss. Hmmm... Surely it is a bummer. But don't even think about going bald, okay? Let's take a look at tips to overcome and prevent a bad hair day from coming again!

  1. Don't wash your hair too often. Yes! It turns out that washing too often is not good, it can even damage the hair and scalp! If you think your hair will be healthy, strong, smooth, and shiny because we take care of the health of our scalp by washing it every day, we need to start changing that habit. The chemicals in the shampoo that are used too often run the risk of decreasing the moisture content of the hair. The natural oils emanating from the scalp eventually disappear with a splash of shampoo after washing. Wash every 2-3 times a week. Don't forget to follow the recommended method such as avoiding using hot water, especially for those of you who have thick, curly, and dry hair as it also washes away the natural oils from the scalp. Or by using the type of shampoo that suits your hair and scalp problems!
  2. Usually, we are often tempted by new products with many tantalizing claims. But be careful if you are one of those who regularly change shampoo products! Every time you change shampoo, try to pay attention to the reaction caused by your scalp or hair. If there is an uncomfortable reaction such as an itchy scalp or heat, the hair becomes branched, dry, and so on. If you have such symptoms, stop using the new shampoo immediately and go back to the old shampoo you usually use. Of course, the one that suits your scalp and hair! This damage can cause your hair split ends and dryness, making it unmanageable and possibly frizzy like lions!
  3. Use conditioner. This is an extra way to maintain and nourish your hair. You can also try deep conditioning by using a hair mask once a week. Conditioner products usually contain substances that protect the hair's moisture and provide the necessary nutrients to prevent dry and frizzy hair.
  4. Finally, avoid using a hair dryer with too high a temperature, as this can be one of the causes of rapid drying and swelling of the hair.

With these few tips, you can overcome and prevent a bad hair day! Yay!
