Handling Bad Body Odor

It may be difficult for some people to detect their body odor compared to other people's body odor. So when we sweat, the bacteria on the skin will multiply faster and break down the proteins in the sweat into acids. Well, these substances make body odor unpleasant. 1. Always keep it clean by bathing regularly, and make sure to clean every area. Especially the body folds such as the armpits, the junction of the shoulders and neck, and other regions. Take a bath regularly, 2-3 times a day.

2. Use antibacterial soap. Make sure the soap product you use contains antibacterial properties to reduce the number of bacteria on the skin that cause bad body odor. But remember always to make sure your skin fits the soap product you're using, okay?

4. Ensure to dry yourself well after showering, especially in the body fold area. After bathing, gently wipe the entire surface of the wet skin with a towel until dry. Do not leave body parts that are still wet when wearing clothes because the clothes get wet and cause damp skin. So that the bacteria that cause body odor multiply quickly.

5. Use deodorant or antiperspirant in the armpits. The chemicals and alcohol in these products help retain sweat and prevent body odor. Use this product twice a day in the morning and evening after showering. Before using this product, ensure the underarm area is completely clean and dry. We are also advised to shave or remove armpit hair regularly, ladies! It is also helpful in preventing body odor.

5. Maintain food intake. Some foods could cause more sweat production and have an unpleasant odor than usual! These types of foods include spicy, fatty, and also strong-smelling foods.

6. Use clothing that easily absorbs sweat. Usually, cotton is the most accessible clothing material to absorb sweat. Also, ensure you always wear clean clothes and change them regularly, okay? Aside from that, you should also pay attention to the material and cleanliness of your underwear, ladies!
